The vehicle got newly standard rear-seat reminders and a new responsive headlight system for 2021, but the good bits remained unchanged. That means Subaru’s standard all-wheel-drive system, a spacious interior, and quality materials. Two engines are available: A 2.5-liter four-cylinder with 182 horsepower and 176 pound-feet of torque or a turbocharged 2.4-liter engine with 260 horsepower and 277 pound-feet of torque. Both are paired with all-wheel drive and a continuously variable transmission.

A 3.5-liter V6 is available that produces a whopping 301 horsepower and 267 pound-feet of torque. With the larger engine on board, the Camry accelerates like a true sports sedan, though its handling and dynamics are a bit off the mark.

A continuously variable transmission (CVT) and front-wheel drive are standard, though Honda offers all-wheel drive. Inside, the Honda comes with a standard five-inch display, but a larger seven-inch unit is available that runs Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, Bluetooth, HD radio, and more.

The Palisade is similar to the Telluride in more ways than one. Since Kia and Hyundai are corporate siblings, the two SUVs share a powertrain and platform. That means the same 3.8-liter V6 with 291 horsepower and 262 pound-feet of torque, eight-speed transmission, and front- or all-wheel drive. Towing capability also comes in at 5,000 pounds – just like the Kia. The two SUVs split on styling, where the Palisade is decidedly more upscale and luxurious than the Telluride, which leans to the sporty side of style. The Hyundai come standard with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto that run on an 8-inch touchscreen, and a larger 10.3-inch unit is available.
